We use medium-density fiberboard (MDF) as a substrate for our standard designs. MDF is a versatile wood-based material that is ideal for exclusive interior design projects. The fine, homogeneous structure of MDF boards makes the material particularly easy to mill and sand, which is a great advantage for our laser-cut 3D relief panels. The combination of MDF boards and laser technology results in an impressive surface appearance, as even intricate designs can be laser-cut to the highest quality. For the fabricator, MDF has the advantage that the panels are easy to screw together and have a high level of strength. In addition, the surface of the laser-cut MDF panels can be finished with a paint or powder coating. This not only significantly enhances the appearance of the material, but also makes it more impact-, scratch- and moisture-resistant than untreated MDF due to the closed surface.
